Angela D. Strickland

Angela Dawn Strickland, 61, of Buckner, Missouri passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Visitation will be 1:00 pm Sunday March 9, 2025 at Royer Funeral Home. Celebration of life will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home.

Angela was born February 5, 1964 in Kansas City, Kansas to Cecil Abbott and Carol (Sikes) Abbott. She was a hairstylist for 40 years. Angela enjoyed making arts and crafts as well as playing the guitar. She was known for singing Patsy Cline songs and karaoke. Angela loved to cook and spend quality time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Myra Johnson and her brother, Doug Abbott.

Angela is survived by her husband, Terry Stickland of the home; son, David Strickland of Buckner, MO; her fifth bassett hound, Olive PeeWee; several cousins and extended family members.
