Barbara “Joann” Zeller
Barbara “Joann” Zeller, 78, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Liberty Health and Wellness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 2nd at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Joann was born December 12, 1938, in Mount Vernon, Missouri, the daughter of Clyde and Audrey (Revess) Fossett. She was a housewife, and was married at one time to P.J. Zeller. They had 6 children together. Joann enjoyed dancing, posing for pictures, and spending time with her family. She attended New Life Assembly of God in Oak Grove.
Joann is preceded in death by 3 grandsons: Timmy Zeller, Glen Zeller, and Cody Turner; and 7 siblings: Harold Fossett, Jack Fossett, Freda Pennington, George Fossett, Carol Sue Beaver, David Fossett, and Eva Fossett.
Her survivors include 4 daughters: Tamela Eggleston of St. Joseph, MO, Teresa Chrisp, Tina Hurst-Bryant, and Thelma Maxon, all of Liberty; 2 sons: Timothy Zeller of Oak Grove, and Terry Zeller of Independence, MO; brother, Jearl Fossett of Odessa, MO; 2 sisters: Lucille Feden of Kansas, and Linda Sue Kuester of Arizona; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
