Beatrice “Bea” K. Norton, 65, of Oak Grove, MO passed away March 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
The family will celebrate her life 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Oak Grove Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
Bea was born April 11, 1949 in Independence, MO to Virgil & Genevieve (Goring) Rieckhoff.
Beatrice married Ed Norton on October 5, 1968. Bea & Ed were the owner/operators of Oak Grove Plumbing and Heating.
Bea was preceded in death by her father: Virgil Rieckhoff; husband Ed Norton in 2014.
Bea is survived by her daughter: Melissa Thrasher & husband Tom of Oak Grove, MO; son: Ed Norton II & wife Jodi of Blue Springs, MO; mother: Genevieve Rieckhoff of Sunrise Beach, MO; sister: Karen Rieckhoff; 7 grandchildren: Sierra Norton, Brittney Norton, Justin Thrasher, Jessica Thrasher, Dawson Thrasher, Sydney Norton, Logan Norton; 1 great-grandson: Jaxxon Bell.
