Betty Jean Riley, 88, of Independence, MO passed away Monday July 8, 2013 at Carmel Hills Nursing Home.
Cremation. Visitation will be 1:30-2:00 pm Tuesday July 16, 2103 at Carmel Hills Nursing Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the nursing home. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made in Betty’s name to Vitas Hospice Vitas Hospice 4041 S. Betty was born September 18, 1924 in Bevier, MO to George & Pearl (Vestal) Fathergill.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents: George & Pearl Fathergill; husband: Raymond B. Riley.
Betty is survived by her daughter: Joetta Hodges & husband Larry of Blue Springs, MO; sons: Gary Ridenour of Kansas City, MO, Thomas Riley of Bowling Green, MO; grandson: Rick Hodges of Corder, MO.
