Bobby D. Hubbard

Bobby Darrell Hubbard, 77, of Odessa, Missouri, formerly of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab, Oak Grove, MO.  Services will be held at a later time in Atkins, AR.

Bobby was born February 20, 1940, in Portage Township, Missouri, the son of Fred Wallace and Una Lee (Bolin) Hubbard.  He was a construction laborer and belonged to the Laborers International Union of North America Local 579.  He was a master of “fixing” things, and enjoyed antique cars, playing cards, and fishing with his grandkids.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Verlie Marie Tilley; companion Evelyn Soethout; grandson, Dana James Hubbard; four brothers: H.H. Hubbard, Wallace Hubbard, Billy H. Hubbard, and Jack Hubbard; four sisters: Lois Lee Keener, Patti Rozzell, Sue Ellen Carpenter, and Ida ‘Jo” Sand.

His survivors include one brother, Emmett Hubbard; two daughters: Cathy Caruso (Michael) and Deborah Fiene (Shawn); son, James Hubbard (Marsena); five stepchildren: Teresa Simmons (Les), Alison Kazerouni, Keith Soethout, Kathryn Sabastiani (George), and Joyce Bullock (Tim); seven grandchildren: Austin, Raegan, Lauren, Rose, Michael John, Thomas, and Carshena; and four great-grandchildren: Keagen, Bennett, Anna, and Collin.
