Christian L. Barker

Christian Luke Vincent Barker, 21, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019. A celebration of life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 26th at East Side Church, Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Kristen Williams in care of Christian’s daughter.

Christian was born on July 21, 1998 in Independence, MO, son of Marcus Sanchez and Kristen (Barker) Williams. He loved being a father and husband. He enjoyed video games, riding ATV’s, old Hot Rods, music, being surrounded by friends and family and always enjoyed a good meal.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Haylee Atagi-Barker; maternal grandpa, Ronnie Barker; and paternal grandpa, John Sanchez.

Christian’s survivors include his daughter, Leinani Atagi-Barker; mother and stepfather, Kristen Williams (Cory) of Blue Springs, MO; 4 brothers, Patrick Sanchez, Jaiden Lawson, Nicholas Goll and Cole Williams; sister, Kendyl Williams; father, Marcus Sanchez of Ohio; maternal grandma, Connie Barker of Grain Valley; paternal grandma, Linda Sanchez of Sugar Creek, MO; maternal grandma Joyce Brown of Kansas City; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
