Clarica J. Colston
Clarica Jean Colston, 53, of Lake Lafayette, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10th at the Oak Grove Christian Church, Oak Grove, MO.
Clarica was born November 22, 1967, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Delmar and Vicki (Miller) Gretencord. She was a corporate travel agent and enjoyed taking many trips with her husband. They also took many trips in their RV, staying in Texas and Arizona. Clarica had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church. She was also a member of several quilting groups and a library group. She made custom cakes and was known for her chocolate chip cookies. Clarica enjoyed feeding the birds and luring in Orioles. She especially loved her wiener dog and two cats.
Clarica was survived by her husband, Bill Colston III; daughter, Candace Whyde of Lee’s Summit, MO; four grandchildren: Sapphire Groves, Marissa Whyde, Madden Hurley, and Maverick Hurley; and sister, Lori Biesemeyer of Liberty, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents.
