Cynthia “Cyndi” L. Hamilton
Cynthia Lee Hamilton, 71, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Centerpoint Hospital with family and friends at her side. Cyndi was born August 12, 1954, in Independence, Missouri, to James and Carol (Heater) Hamilton. She graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1972.
Cyndi lived life to the fullest. She started scuba diving at five years old. She traveled the world. She rode camels in the desert and elephants through villages. She loved to skydive, so much so that she was always asking friends and family along for the jump. She repelled off the top of Chiefs stadium. She took a spin around a NASCAR track in a race car. She became a nurse and traveled with a doctor to remote Central American villages to administer aid after natural disasters.
But what her family and friends will remember is the love and care she gave so freely to us. She was always the first to offer comfort, support, praise. The void she leaves is unmeasurable.
Cyndi leaves her sister Marci Martin, nephews Michael Martin (Amberly), Mark Whitt (Natalie)and family, David Whitt (Tracy) and family, Matthew Martin predeceased. great nieces, Dixie Woodward (Zoey, Ian), Skyler Martin, great nephew, Ty Turney, Carol Hall, Jackie Quick and family. The family extends our heartfelt thanks for the prayers, love and support we received from Cyndi‘s church family at Living Hope and especially Cyndi‘s dear friend Susan Hunter, who tirelessly sat by Cyndi’s side, giving comfort, support and sharing her own stories of adventures with Cyndi.
