David M. Magers

David Michael Magers, 68, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley Missouri. Service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. Contributions can be made to The Special Olympics ~ 305 Special Olympics Dr. Jefferson City, Missouri 65101.

Dave was born May 15, 1954 in Independence, Missouri to Donald Ray and June Darlene Magers. Dave was married to Rhonda Magers for over 30 years. He was a landscaper and owned Magers Landscaping for most of his career. Dave was a Mizzou graduate and an avid fan of Mizzou sports. He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. Dave was a season ticket holder for over 20 years. Arrowhead was his favorite place to be if he wasn’t with friends or family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Magers; parents, Don and Darlene Magers.

Dave is survived by his son, Dillon Magers (32); daughter, Cassie Scheidt (36) son-in-law Justin Scheidt and their 3 sons: Beckett (6), Baylor (4) and Bode (2); sister, Sherry Larson; brother, Mark Magers (Ginny); and many other family and friends.
