David P. Buttram

David Paul Buttram, 60, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. Funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. David was born on March 12, 1964, in Independence, MO.  David retired from Gospel tract Society in September of 2023.  He faithfully kept track of the bookkeeping for this ministry over many years.  David was passionate about family history/genealogy and meticulously researched the family tree.  David loved history, finding amazing antiques / artifacts, and bringing them back to their former glory.  David was a member of the Blue Springs Historical Society.  He also did the research necessary to confirm his eligibility for the Mayflower Society. David enjoyed meeting new people and making lasting friendships.

David was preceded in death by his mother Donna Buttram, father Paul Buttram, and younger brother Michael Buttram.  

Survivors include:  His brother Robert Buttram, sister-in-law Shannon Buttram, nephew Jacob Buttram, niece Shelby Buttram, longtime friend Brad Hughes, many friends and family.
