Donald R. Halliburton

Donald R. Halliburton, 76, passed away on May 15, 2024 at his home at Blue Hills Rest Home, where he had resided for the past 7 years.

He was born on February 4, 1948, to the late Kenneth D. and Hazel (Craft) Halliburton of Butler, MO.

Donald was a 1966 graduate of Miami High School, Amoret, MO. He began his work career as a welder for Allis Chalmers, and was later employed for many years as a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jeanine Halliburton, and 2 brothers, Richard K. Halliburton and David L. Halliburton; he is survived by 2 sisters, Barbara (and Bob) Arrowood of Independence, MO, Beverley Larrick of Amoret, MO, and 1 brother, Ronald L. (and Marilyn) Halliburton of Butler, MO, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on Thursday, 5/23/2024 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO, with visitation at 10:00 AM and funeral at 11:00 AM.
