Edgar P. Sweet II

Edgar Paul Sweet II, born May 16, 1934, in Seward, Pennsylvania, passed on January 26, 2022 in Blue Springs, Missouri. Mr. Sweet served with the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and worked for Ford Motor Company for 43 years as a journeyman millwright. He was a Scoutmaster in Blue Springs, Troop 603.  A strong work ethic, desire to help others, and great devotion to family were some of his solid creeds. Mr. Sweet was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jean (Burkett), and is survived by his two sons, Edgar (Joanne) of New Braunfels, Texas, and William (Kathleen) of Blue Springs, and two grandchildren, Rachel and Sebastian. At his request, there will be no services, but donations can be made in his name to the Salvation Army.
