Effie A. Smith

Effie Anna (Bradfield) Smith, 90, Oak Grove, MO passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 in her home.  Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on August 14, 2020 in Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, MO.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Oak Grove or Beacon of Hope Hospice.

Effie Anna was born August 26, 1929, in Clinton, MO, the daughter of Arthur and Mefford Bradfield.  She married Charles “Charlie” Smith on February 17, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 2002.  Anna and Charles moved to Oak Grove, MO in 1971 and were members of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove.  

She leaves 3 sons: Garry, Ronald, and Randy; 3 daughters: Dianna McDaniels, Charlene Clardy, and Karen Reinbold; 21 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.  Preceding her in death were two sons, Donald and Steve.
