Fredricka “Suzie” Desilet Obituary

Fredricka “Suzie” Desilet, 77 of Independence, MO passed away August 28, 2020. Visitation will be 10-11a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2020 with Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 2200 N. Blue Mills Rd., Independence, MO. Burial at New Salem Cemetery.

Suzie was born October 11, 1942 in Concordia, KS to Leroy & Betty (Erhardt) Alford. She was a grade school teacher for 32 years. Suzie was a member of St. Joseph the Worker for more than 50 years. She loved to read.

Suzie was preceded in death by her parents.

Suzie is survived by her husband Larry; daughter: Linda Desilet-Smith & husband Scott; son: David Desilet; grandson: Aryk Smith; granddaughter Kyra Smith and several nieces and nephews.
