Gail E. Dennis
Gail Earlene Dennis, 71, of Bates City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Gail was born February 22, 1947, in Oak Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Earl V. and Lucille (Smith) Houston. She married Charles Dennis on March 6, 1965. Gail was an avid reader and loved working in her garden, raising flowers, and feeding and watering the birds. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Ryan Hicks; and sisters: Shirley & Ann.
Her survivors include her husband, Charles Dennis of the home; three children: Darin Dennis of Lebanon, IL, Steven Dennis of Bates City, and Julie Hicks (Richard) of Bates City; three grandchildren: Courtney Smart (Nate) of New Baden, IL, Jacob Dennis and Katelyn Dennis, both of Lebanon, IL; and one sister, Kay Woody of Lexington, MO.
