Glenn E. Heishman
Glenn Edward Heishman, 86, of Napoleon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Services will be held Monday, October 2nd at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO with visitation at 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral at 1:00 p.m. The committal will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Springs Assembly of God for Missions or church camp scholarships.
Glenn was born May 4, 1931, in Bosworth, Missouri, the son of Clay and Fannie (Potter) Heishman. He married Martha Jessee on October 28, 1956. Glenn was a safety engineer in the insurance field, retiring in 1994. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and dearly loved his family. Glenn had a strong Christian faith. He was a member of Blue Springs Assembly of God, where he enjoyed working with the youth at church camp.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Michael. His survivors include his wife of 60 years, Martha Heishman of the home; four children: Greg Heishman, Deb Heishman, Clay Heishman (Linda), and Doug Heishman (Dana); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Delmar Heishman and David Heishman.
