Harold E. Chambers

Harold “Ebb” Edward Chambers, age 83, peacefully passed away at his home in Blue Springs, Missouri on August 25, 2020, from complications due to pancreatitis.

He was born on August 10, 1937 in Whitley City, Kentucky. He married the love of his life, Christine “Chris” Marie Koehl, on October 7, 1972 in Newport, Kentucky. She was at his side when he passed.  Ebb attended school in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. He was a graduate of Stivers High School in Dayton. He was a master and mentor of his trade as a certified offset pressman for 45 years. He had a great talent at understanding how things worked and fixing things when they did not. Ebb had a passion for nature and preferred to live in the country surrounded by wilderness. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, camping and watching cowboy movies. 

Ebb’s beautiful life will forever be cherished by those who survive him. His wife, Chris, loves and treasures him on earth as she will in heaven. He is loved by his younger sister, Janice Chambers Austin, whom he caringly called “Jannie”.  Ebb’s love lives in his children and grandchildren: daughter, Elise Chambers, and her children, Carter, Cameron, Abby and Hayden; daughter, Nikki Chambers, and her children, Alexis and Lilli; and his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Yuka Chambers, and their children, William and Charli. Ebb will watch his two great grandsons, Kain and Sora, grow up from his place in heaven.

Ebb was preceded in death by his father, William Chambers, mother, Ruth Chambers (nee Craynon), and his younger brother, William “Dee” Chambers.  May peace be with them.

Ebb – husband, dad, grandpa, great granddad, son, and brother – We are so proud of you.  You are loved and will be forever missed. Peace is with you.
