
Herman H. Osborn Jr.
Herman Howard Osborn Jr. went to his eternal home in Heaven on July 1, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 79 years old.
Herman (Junior) was born on September 2, 1944 in Roach, Mo. He spent the majority of his life/career as a commercial electrician. He became affectionately known as the WGE which stands for the World’s Greatest Electrician. After retiring, he pursued his lifelong passion of Missouri Foxtrotting Horses in the show ring and out on the trail winning many ribbons, championships, and awards. He was a lifetime member of the Missouri Foxtrotting Horse Breed Association. He was a former president of the Kansas City Regional Foxtrotter Affiliate and served on several committees at the National Foxtrotter Association. He loved and promoted Foxtrotters for most of his life. Horses weren’t just a hobby for him, but rather a lifestyle that he shared with his wife, Teresa.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Osborn of the home in Spring Hill, Ks. Daughters Debby Fisher of Independence, Mo. and Barby Mabary of Freeman, Mo. Granddaughter Marina Strait of Freeman, Mo., Karah Fisher of Independence, Mo. Grandsons Logan Mabary and wife Makalyn, and Great Granddaughter, Maggie of Freeman, Mo. Wyatt Mabary, wife Morgan, and Great Granddaughter, Zoey of Freeman, Mo. Grandson, Kahner Fisher of Independence, Mo. His sister, Betty Daily, of Hermitage, Mo. and many treasured nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were like family to him.
He was a proud member of Grace Community Church in Spring Hill, Ks.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at Grace Community Church in Spring Hill, Ks. on Saturday, July 13th at 1 PM. Light refreshments will be served following the service.
