Jacklyn S. Decker

Jacklyn Suzann Decker, 34, of Parkville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday August 31, 2017 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial following in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley, MO.

Jacklyn was born on May 18, 1983, in Independence, MO, daughter of John and Susan (Self) Saxton. She was a very free spirited person, loved shopping for and having beautiful things, loved doing art. She loved her family and her dog, Daisy. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Peggy Self; paternal grandparents, Mike and Donna Saxton; and uncle, Michael T. Saxton.

Her survivors include her husband, Greg Decker of the home; father, John (Kim) Saxton of Independence, MO; mother, Susan (Edwin) Chiddix of Blue Springs, MO; step-daughter, Mandy (Aaron) Freolich of Liberty, MO; step-son, Troy (Melissa) Decker of San Antonio, TX; 2 sisters, Stefanie (Mike) Hilton of Blue Springs, MO, and Casey Saxton of Independence, MO; nieces and nephews, Sara, Madison, Austin and Chloe; and aunts, uncles and extended family.
