Janet K. Mason

Janet Kay Mason, 55, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Janet was born on October 21, 1952, in Brookfield, MO, the daughter of Jerry D. and Rita (Stephenson) Mason. She was a 1971 graduate of Meadville High School. Janet was an LPN and an Electronics Technician. She was also active in the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Her survivors include one son: Randy Burkeybile & his wife, Kim, of Higginsville, MO; one brother: Roger Mason & his wife, Sharon, of Lee’s Summit, MO; two grandchildren: Devyn & Kristen Burkeyville; one niece: Michelle Shrout of Blue Springs, MO; one nephew: Kenny Mason of Smith Grove, KY; and three great-nieces: Ashley, Alyssa & Brianna Shrout.
