Janis L. Cloe
Janis Lynn Cloe, 71, of Kansas City, MO passed away October 15, 2019. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19th at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO, with Memorial service at 2:00 p.m., followed by burial in New Salem Cemetery.
Janis was born February 23, 1948 in Leedy, MS, to Joseph & Margie (Wiginton) Orr. She loved riding motorcycles and belonged to the Leather and Lace Bike Club. Janis enjoyed reading Sci-Fi and Mystery books. She also enjoyed working in her vegetable garden.
Janis was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tommy in 1994; grandchildren: Adora, Mike and Jeff.
Janis is survived by her children: Barry Cloe & wife Christine of Independence, MO, Tamara Arbuthnot & husband Devon of Independence, MO, and Tena Carr of Kansas City, MO; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
