JoAnn Morris

JoAnn Morris, 92, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. A private family Mass will be held.

JoAnn was born August 27, 1928 in Marysville, Kansas the daughter of George and Ethel (Farrell) Bauman. She taught 24 years at St. Regis Catholic School in Kansas City, MO. JoAnn was a member of Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit, MO. She liked playing Pinochle and going out to eat with friends. She also enjoyed reading and, JoAnn prayed the rosary for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Morris in 2013; son, Dennis Morris in 2013; daughter, Nancy Seacord in 2020; 2 brothers: Bill Bauman and Jack Bauman.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter; Janet Hale (Bruce) of Blue Springs, MO; 2 sons: Tom Morris (Debby) of Lee’s Summit, MO. and Bill Morris (Suzanne) of Overland Park, KS; brother, Mark Bauman (Anne) of Overland Park, KS;  12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and other family members.
