Joyce Ann (Haney) Sallee of Oak Grove, MO passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the First Baptist Church 400 E 14th Street, Oak Grove, MO 64075 on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 12:30pm with services immediately following at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, MO in her name.
Joyce Ann Sallee was born November 14, 1951, in Emporia, KS, to Carl and Margaret Haney. She graduated High School in Blue Springs, MO in 1969. After graduation, Joyce went to work at Russell Stover, where she met a lot of wonderful people who became lifelong friends. After leaving Russell Stover, Joyce worked the rest of her career in the Insurance industry. Spending time with family and friends was very important to Joyce. Having the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren over on Christmas Eve became a tradition and was a special time for her every year.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father Carl Haney, brother Gale Dean Haney, sister Coleen, and daughter Natalie (Cort) Hampton.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 38 years James Sallee; Mother Margaret Haney – Eureka, KS; Sisters: Kathy (Jim) Robinson, Arlene Dewitt, Diane (Bill) Barb, Darlene (Mike), Trish; Brother: Lee (Vicki) Haney; Children: Janette (Mark) Spence, Bryan (Sayre) Sallee, Kyle (Brandy) Sallee; 13 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
