Jozef R. Stegmaier

Jozef Ray Stegmaier, 31, of Kingsville, Missouri passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Lee’s Summit Bible Church, 1200 N.E. Colbern Rd. Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Burial to follow in Koger Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Jozy was born February 21, 1991 in Blue Springs, Missouri. The son of Larry Stegmaier and Shelly Stegmaier. He is a 2009 graduate of Raymore-Peculiar High School. Jozy participated in Boy Scout Troop 32 and achieved Life Scout. He was a Brave in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He didn’t shy away from working hard. Jozy loved being outside, fishing and hunting. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile and piercing blue eyes. Jozy was a good man that loved his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Truman and Earlene Stegmaier; maternal grandfather: Orville Klotz; Uncles: Rusty and Rick Klotz; and best friend Austin Brown.

Jozy is survived by his parents: Larry and Shelly Stegmaier; daughter: LayLynn Louise Stegmaier and her mother, Brianna Fair; brother: Timmy Stegmaier; niece: Piper Stegmaier; brother and sister-n-law, Tommy and Lindsey Stegmaier; brother: Elijah Klotz; maternal grandmother: Frances Klotz; and many cousins that he loved dearly.
