Judith L. Landes

Judith “Judi” Lynn Landes, 79, of Independence, MO passed away February 28, 2023.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2023 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial at New Salem Cemetery.

Judi was born April 1, 1943 in New Haven, CT to Eugene & Dorothy (Hawthorne) Crandall. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, feeding and watching the birds. Judi also enjoyed working in her flower garden. she was at one time a Shriner. Judi would host parties and cook for the Shriners. Judi loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Judi was preceded in death by her parents.

Judi is survived by 2 sons: Edwin Landes, Jr, David Landes; 1 daughter: Cathy Lancaster; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren on the way.
