Kearney Duane Pixler, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away June 7, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Susquehanna Baptist Church 17800 E. Susquehanna Ridge, Independence, MO 64056. Kearney was born June 23, 1940, in Pine Bluff, AR to Jesse “Duane” & Mary Lee (Bearden) Pixler.

Kearney was preceded in death by his parents: Duane & Mary Pixler.

Kearney is survived by his wife Barbara Pixler of the home; son: Bobby Pixler & wife Debra of Lincoln, MO, daughter: Randi Orlando & husband Tony of Independence, MO; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister: Diana Pixler of Oak Grove, MO; brother: Fred Pixler & wife Kay of Oak Grove, MO.
