Kevin T. Greenawalt

Kevin Todd Greenawalt, 53, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away July 31, 2020. Visitation will be 4:30-6:30pm Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Abundant Life Lee’s Summit, MO. Funeral to follow at 6:30 pm. He will be laid to rest Friday at New Salem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to his children’s future education.

Kevin was born February 25, 1967 to Robert & Barbara (Crisp) Greenawalt. He worked for KC Electrical Supply for 25 years. Kevin was a member of Abundant Life Church. He served in the ministry throughout his life, most recently serving on the security team.

He loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. Kevin was to be married to Christina Hosack. He was very kind hearted and was a “gentle giant”. Kevin was an avid sports fan, but especially for his Mizzou Tigers! He never knew a stranger and had a hug to offer to anyone. Kevin was a loving son, brother, father and friend.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father.

Kevin is survived by his fiancé: Christina Hosack; son: Todd Greenawalt; daughter: Lydia Hosack; mother: Barbara Greenwalt; brother: Duane Greenawalt (Kelly); sisters: Melissa Beck (William), Teresa Stone and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
