Lydia L. Gausman

Lydia L. Gausman, 98, of Levasy, MO passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Monterey Park Nursing Center, Independence. The funeral will be 2 pm Thursday, March 22nd at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial in Buckner Cemetery, Buckner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. preceding the service.

Lydia was born November 27, 1908 in Levasy, MO, the daughter of Henry & Pauline (Dieckmann) Gausman. She was a lifelong Levasy resident and farmer. She never married. Lydia was a member of the Oak Grove Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Adeline Schemmer, Frieda Gausman, and one who died in infancy; and a nephew: Edward Dale Schemmer.

Her survivors include two nieces: Laverne S. Breuer of Buckner, MO and Lucille Novark of Narka, KS; and one nephew: Roger N. Schemmer of Two Harbors, MN.
