Mary Ann Eppers

Mary Ann Eppers, 86, passed away on Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2020 at her home in Independence, MO from complications of cancer.  Private family burial.  A Memorial service for Mary Ann will be held at a later date.

Mary Ann was born October 16, 1933 in Caldwell, TX, to Bill and Mamie Norcross. She attended high school in Bryan, TX. Mary Ann met the love of her life, Bob in 1950 while he was on leave with her brother Bobby Norcross.  They were married April 8, 1951. She was a faithful member of the Buckner Restoration branch.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years.

Her survivors include her children: Ray and Dawn Eppers of Bryan, TX, Bill Eppers and Marcus Weems of Dallas, TX, Victor and Paula Eppers of Mansfield, TX, Susan Calhoun and Spencer Taylor of Independence, MO, and Sharon and Bruce Braden of Independence, MO; her sister, Mildred Sebesta of Bryan, TX; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.  Mary Ann was mother to a few, and “Ma” to many.
