Matthew W. Dillon
Matthew “Matt” Wayne Dillon, 59, of Independence, MO passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1st at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence.
Matt was born November 8, 1959 in Kansas City, MO, to Donnie L. & Eula L. (Neighbors) Dillon. He enjoyed riding and customizing motorcycles. He was a skilled craftsman and built amazing furniture from wood.
Matt is preceded in death by his father and daughter, Shara Dillon.
He is survived by 3 sons: Jacob Dillon, Justin Dillon, and Cade Dillon; sister, Gayla Follett; brother, Randy Dillon; niece, Megan Larabee; nephew, Josh Dillon; and numerous grandchildren.
