Micheal “Mike” Dwayne Erwin, 57, of Grain Valley, Missouri. It comes with great sadness to announce Mike lost his 4 month battle with cancer. He passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021. A Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mike was born December 14, 1963 in Pryor Oklahoma, son of Edgar and Stella (Burns) Erwin. He didn’t know a stranger and was quick to lend a helping hand or give a word of encouragement to anyone in need. Mike loved the outdoors and had many interest. His hobbies were numerous and he was a fun-loving jokester. Mike’s circle of friends was wide and his influence on others was great. His laugh will be missed and his passing will leave a huge hole in the hearts of many.
He was preceded in death by his parents: E.G. Erwin and Stella Erwin; and sister, Sherry Leona Erwin.
Mike is survived by his wife, Angie Erwin; brother, Eddie (Monica) Erwin; brother, Ben (Carolyn) Erwin; sister, Paulette (Mike) Rowland; brother, Jack (Charlotte) Eddings; sister, Ervalee Moore; nephew, Garrette (Skylar) Erwin; niece, Ryan Erwin; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
