Michael S. Mountjoy
Michael Stephen Mountjoy, 52, of Independence, MO, born April 12, 1969, in Kansas City, MO, left this world suddenly on October 3, 2021.
He leaves behind his mother, Sandra Price of Warrensburg, MO; his wife Deirdre K. Mountjoy, daughter Zoey Marie Mountjoy, daughter Madelyne Kay Mountjoy and Anna Grace Goetz, all of the home; and son Tanner Michel Mountjoy of Lee’s Summit, MO. He also leaves behind Hali and Moriah Neptune and Jaren Luke Goetz; his sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and David Ribera of Texas; nephews, Tyler & Calvin Ribera of Springfield, MO; niece, Rose Ribera of Texas; and two brothers, Chris Mountjoy and Bobby Odell.
There will be a Celebration of Life from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 10th at the clubhouse at 301 W. Sue Ellen Drive, Independence, MO 64056. All are welcome to come and celebrate Michael’s life.
