Nancy J. Salyer

Nancy Jean Salyer, 86, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO. A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8th at The Field House in Oak Grove.

Nancy was born on September 1, 1937, in Lexington, MO, the daughter of Percy and Thelma (Brown) Amor. She was a homemaker and loved her church and her many friends. She especially loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Salyer; great-grandson, Izaiah Salyer; and brother, Herbert Amor.

Her survivors include her husband of 67 years, Jack Salyer of the home; two daughters: Peggy Lampe (Gene) of Overland Park, KS, and Mary Kimberly (Michael) of Schwenksville, PA; eight grandchildren: Stacy, Jason, Lindsay, Allison, Jessica, Rebecca, Mat, and Lacey; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
