Neal A. Brown
Neal A. Brown, 59, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away at his home on February 17, 2025, following a short illness. Services will be held on Saturday, March 8, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 202 West 19th St., Kearney, MO 64060. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley, Missouri.
Neal was born to Norris and Ella Brown December 17, 1965, in Salina, KS. He is preceded in death by his father, Norris Brown; paternal grandparents, Orval and Frances Brown; and maternal grandparents, Claude and Marguerite Mathews. Neal is survived by his wife, Sheri, and two adopted daughters, Mia and Diamond, of the home; mother, Ella Jacques of San Diego, CA; sister, Patricia Brown (John) of San Diego, CA; brother, Terry Brown (Lady) of Warner Robins, GA; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Neal was a military veteran and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Electronics Institute in 1998 and greatly enjoyed his career as a telecommunications technician for AT&T. Above all, Neal loved his Savior and was devoted to his family. He worked hard and sacrificed to provide for them. Neal is loved by many and sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charitable organization of your choice. Neal and his family have benefited from Disabled American Veterans, Camp Barnabas, and the Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) Family Support Fund at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
