Norman R. Hicklin Jr.

Norman R. Hicklin, Jr. 67 of Independence, MO passed away September 5, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He fought a long battle with diabetes, stroke and heart disease.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donation to Crossroads Hospice in his name. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Norman was born January 27, 1953 to Norman R Hicklin, Sr and wife Lois Hicklin. Norman had a lot of jobs over the years, but they all centered around his love of old cars. He drove a tow truck for many years.

Norman was preceded in death by his father, sister: Rosemary Hicklin; brother: John Hicklin.

Norman is survived by his wife of almost 49 years Martha Hicklin of the home; son: Norman R. Hicklin III of Blue Springs, MO; daughter: Jamie Hicklin; grandson: Jr Hicklin wo was a caregiver, 9 other grandchildren: Angela Whitener, Norman Hicklin IV, Devin Wright, Noah Hicklin, Izaiah & Aubrianna Hicklin, Lorenzo, Kamia, Kalia Hicklin; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Duke Hicklin (Debbie), Billy Hicklin (Deloris) all of Bates City, MO; mother: Lois Hicklin of Lexington, MO
