Patricia A. Vaverka
Patricia Ann Vaverka, 83, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on December 23, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30th in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Smallett, MO.
Patricia was born on December 1, 1938, in El Monte, California, the daughter of Albert and Marie (Croskey) Friedriches. She was a corporate trainer for Cracker Barrel. She enjoyed Bingo, Yahtzee, lottery scratch-offs, and especially loved her favorite football player, Travis Kelce of the KC Chiefs.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 34 years, Darwin; son Kevin; two brothers, Birch and Stanley; and son-in-law, Billy Robertson.
Her survivors include two daughters: Rene Robertson and Angela Buster (Pratt); one son, Kim Vaverka (Teresa); thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; her beloved cat, Bo Bo; and many friends at the Oak Grove Manor, where she lived for many years.
