Rebecca Snider

On Saturday April 23, 2022 at 10:15 a.m. Rebecca Snider age 55 passed away surrounded by her husband and her children Rebecca is a beloved wife, mother and friend. Rebecca will be joining her brother Bobby Adams and her grandmother Eva Louise Prince in heaven. She was survived by her husband Dean Snider, her mother and father Ina Faye Edwards and Gerald Edwards, her brothers Rick Adams and Tim Edwards, her son Dustin Wolgamott, her daughter Shayna Silva and lastly her grandson Jax Brison. Rebecca was born June 22nd 1966, to Gerald and Ina Faye Edwards in Grain Valley Missouri. Rebecca always had a passion for real estate. At nineteen she became an apartment manager. Becoming an apartment manager helped her thrive in being a multi-unit property owner later in life. When Rebecca was in her young twenties, she was briefly married to David Wolgamott with whom she had her first child Dustin. Rebecca resided in Missouri from birth till she was a young adult. In 1992 while in her mid-twenties she met Dean Snider in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rebecca and Dean instantly connected. They welcomed their baby daughter Shayna in December of 1993. Rebecca and Dean married by March 9th 1994. In 1996 her and her husband Dean started buying rental properties and became multi-unit property owners. Rebecca spent the last 26 years being a landlord with her husband in the Independence Missouri area. Rebecca loved spending her free time at home with her husband, seeing her children, spending time with her friends, and she loved her cats. The spring and early summer was always her favorite time of year and more than likely would be outside potting flowers for her backyard like she did every year. She had a love for the ocean and outdoors. Rebecca was a very strong willed, independent woman. She was funny and beautiful and always kept you on your toes. Rebecca will be greatly missed. I know she is with us, watching us and smiling down at all the beautiful memories she shared with everyone. In closing I would like to thank the hospice staff for all their wonderful nurses and aides who helped us during this very hard time in our lives. We are respecting Rebecca’s wishes and she did not want a funeral service. Her daughter will be putting together a remembrance of life for her and will have the details out to close family and friends once more planning has been done.
