Richard D. Berry
Richard Darrell Berry passed away on September, 22nd of 2021 at the age of 86.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Wednesday, September 29th at St. Marks United Methodist Church 603 N. Jennings Rd, Independence, MO 64056. Celebration of Life will be 10am Thursday, September 30th at the church.
He was born June 17th, 1935 to Walter and Leah Berry; in Rossville, Kansas. He married his wife Marilin Pfannkuch on April 16th, 1955. They had four sons; Darrell, Dale (Janet), Darren (Karen), and Dean (Hannah) Berry. He owned his own insurance agency for 20 years. He loved woodworking and singing. He enjoyed fishing and owned and operated a small lawnmower repair service. He is survived by his wife Marilin Berry; brother Robert (Lorraine) Berry; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
