Robert J. McNeill

Robert “Bobby” Jefferson McNeill, 44 of Independence, MO passed away March 2, 2022. Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, March 11, 2022 at New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial at New Salem Cemetery.

Bobby was born September 6, 1977 in Kansas City, MO to Jeff & Mary (Gonser) McNeill. He married Julia E. Garrison on September 10, 2016. Bobby was a dedicated family man who loved nothing more than spending time with and caring for his family, jamming to country music, and cooking the best food ever, especially BBQ. He was a very talented mechanic who was truly happy waking up to a job he loved so much. Bobby was an avid gamer and loved cuddling and riling up his favorite pet cat, George “Jones” McNeill. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone he ever could without hesitation. His magnetic personality and infectious laugh will carry on forever.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Jeannie McNeill; brother: Willie McNeill.

Bobby is survived by his wife Julia of the home; daughters: Sequoyah McNeill, Kadence Brashear; sons: Preston Brashear, Teagan McNeill; brother: Frankie Evans of Kansas City, MO; nephew: Christopher Evans. niece: Sarah Golmon of Tulsa, OK.
