Robert W. Dunham
Robert W. Dunham, 80, of Oak Grove, MO, was called to Heaven on December 18, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 31st at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. Visitation will be 10 to 11am with service to follow.
Bob was born on a ranch in Indian Valley, Idaho, on April 8, 1942. He met the love of his life, his wife Chere, here in Missouri and never went back! He and Chere made their home in Oak Grove. They have two daughters, Gina (Rick) Parr, Oak Grove and Susan (Larry) Arnone, Centerview; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Arnone, St Peters, Ryan Parr, Blue Springs, Stephanie (Gabe) Bickel, Oak Grove, Mike (Dawn) Arnone, Grandview, Carla Arnone, Kansas City and Andie Arnone, Springfield; and 4 great grandchildren.
Bob learned a strong work ethic at a young age that continued his entire life! He loved doing carpentry work, building approx. 600 houses around the area. He also loved building furniture – pieces of which are in many of his loved one’s homes today. Bob loved the Chiefs and the Royals – even in the bad years (but definitely preferred the good!). He loved following Oak Grove sports – attending many football, basketball, and volleyball games. Bob was a friendly man – making new friends all along the way – even the nurses that provided him care at the end. He will be greatly missed!
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Oak Grove in Bob’s memory.
