Roberta “Bobbie” L. Funk

Roberta “Bobbie” Lynn Funk, 51, of Independence, MO passed away July 13, 2020.

A visitation will be 1-2pm Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Memorial service to follow at 2pm.

Bobbie was born July 28, 1968 in Kansas City, MO to Russell Carter and Thelma Martin. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, working crossword puzzles and coloring. Bobbie loved spending time with her family and friends. Bobbie’s highlight of her day was getting to see and playing with granddaughter Liliana.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Bobbie is survived by her husband Jeff Funk; son: Jeff Funk II; daughters: Sara Funk (partner Matt Burnson), Samantha Funk; granddaughter: Liliana Burnson; mother: Thelma Martin (partner Jim Taylor); father: Russell Carter (Darlene); brothers: Allen Carter (Becky), Matt Martin (Kirstin); nieces: Amber and Brianna Carter.
