Ronald O. Neidlinger

Ronald “Ron” Oscar Neidlinger, 82, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Missouri. Military Honors are scheduled for 4:45 p.m.

Ron was born June 23, 1939 in Ashland, Pennsylvania. He moved to Wichita Kansas in 1961. He married Gail in 1963 and spent 58 loving years together. He was the son of Oscar H. and Helen M. (Underkoffler) Neidlinger. Ron retired after 38 years as an installer in the Tele-Communications Industry. He enjoyed his retirement very much. Ron was a very skilled woodworker. He was a member of the KC & Lee’s Summit Woodworkers’ Guild. Ron had a green thumb and spent much time working in his garden. He and his wife Gail, served on the Silver Hair Legislation. Ron was a loving husband and father who took pride in his grandkids, and enjoyed spending time with them and attending their activities.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ron is survived by his wife Gail Neidlinger; son, Paul (Alissa) Neidlinger; daughter, Peggy (P.J.) Knight; granddaughter, Megan Renfrow (Kalee Wright); grandsons: Aaron Neidlinger and Ryan Renfrow; granddaughter, Allison Neidlinger; and great-grandson, Braxton Callahan.
