Teresa M. Covert

Teresa “TT” M Covert, 61 of Independence, MO passed away on Monday December 4, 2023.

Teresa was born at Whiteman Air Force Base in 1962.  On March 23, 1991, she married the love of her life Jerry Covert.  She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her family and friends, her chickens and dogs, the beach, and her pool. 

Teresa was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Moudy, and grandmother Granny Brown.

Teresa is survived by her husband Jerry; daughter and husband Trisha and Kevin Guinn; grandson Patrick Guinn; son and wife Jimmy Paul and Danielle Covert; mother and father Judy and Delbert Sipes; brother and wife David and Angela McCune; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on January 13, 2024 from 1-5pm at Sheet Metal Local #2 (2902 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64129). No alcohol, please.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to Children’s Mercy Hospital or DAV.
