Valorie G. Raymond

Valorie Geneva Raymond, 67, of Grain Valley, MO passed away at her home, May 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at New Salem Cemetery. Valorie was born July 24, 1953 in Spokane, WA to Robert L & Ruth I (Radach) Taylor. She enjoyed painting on canvas and scrapbooking. Valorie sang in the Praise Team Choir at church. She was an avid gardener and made the best zucchini relish and salsa. Valorie was very crafty and enjoyed sewing and needle point.

Valorie was preceded in death by her parents: Robert & Ruth Taylor.

Valorie is survived by her husband William Raymond of 35 years; daughters: Ruth Ewart (Travis), Tracy Collins (Chad); son: Robert McKenzie (Valerie); sister: Deanna Chaney (Dwayne); grandchildren: Jesse, Cody, Dillon, Gracen, Elaina, Liam, Abbie Ewart, Alex & Caleb Collins, Hailey McKenzie; 1 great grandchild on the way; nephew: Robert Chaney (Brenda); Niece: Rebecca Chaney.
