Waunetta W. Ingram

Waunetta Wilma Ingram, 98 of Independence, MO passed away June 26, 2022. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday July 1, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial at Salem Cemetery.

Waunetta was born November 22, 1923 in New Salem, IL to Floyd & Maude (Bimsom) Cooley. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. Waunetta was of Baptist Faith and was a charter member of New Hope Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Waunetta was preceded in death by her husband: Robert; son: William Robert; daughter: Vickie; sons: Roger, Kenneth, Richard; daughter-in-law: June and several siblings.

Waunetta is survived by son: Ronald Ingram & wife Joyce of Williamsburg, VA; daughter-in-law’s: Debra Ingram of Independence, MO and Susan Ingram of Buckner, MO; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
